Dow's 325-point jump led by gains for shares of Walmart, Salesforce

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up Tuesday morning with shares of Walmart and Salesforce delivering strong returns for the price-weighted average. Shares of Walmart WMT, +7.53% and Salesforce CRM, +2.92% have contributed to the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +0.58% was most recently trading 325 points higher (1.0%). Walmart’s shares are up $9.66 (7.0%) while those of Salesforce have gained $5.19 (3.3%), combining for a roughly 98-point boost for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Intel INTC, +2.36%, Apple AAPL, +2.68%, and Visa V, +2.54%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
