JPMorgan Chase, Boeing share gains lead Dow's 50-point jump

Buoyed by positive momentum for shares of JPMorgan Chase and Boeing, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is up Tuesday afternoon. The Dow DJIA, +0.67% is trading 58 points (0.2%) higher, as shares of JPMorgan Chase JPM, +2.92% and Boeing BA, +3.20% are contributing to the index’s intraday rally. JPMorgan Chase’s shares have gained $3.00, or 2.5%, while those of Boeing are up $3.11 (2.1%), combining for a roughly 40-point bump for the Dow. Goldman Sachs GS, +2.23%, Chevron CVX, +2.03%, and Travelers TRV, +1.82% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
